Represent the stay honestly
Do not generate or publish false property information, facilities that do not exist, fabricated reviews, misleading availability, false distances, concealed defects or imagery that materially misrepresents the actual room. Styling boards must remain references, not evidence of current condition.
Do not discriminate
Do not use Hostry to screen, rank, exclude or target guests based on protected or sensitive characteristics. Do not draft discriminatory house rules, access refusals or coded messaging. Make accommodation and service decisions under applicable equality law.
No harmful or unlawful content
Do not generate fraud, harassment, sexual exploitation, child abuse material, threats, malware, unlawful surveillance, privacy invasion or instructions intended to evade licensing, fire, food hygiene, health and safety, tax, insurance or legal duties.
Protect the service
Do not bypass plan limits, probe credentials, scrape the service at disruptive volume, interfere with generation tasks, introduce malicious files or use automated access beyond documented interfaces.
How we respond
We may block an input, remove access, preserve relevant security records or report unlawful material where reasonably required. We consider severity, recurrence and risk, and provide notice where lawful and appropriate. Contact support if you believe a restriction was mistaken.
